The tent was wet when you messaged me ‘bout the “Okan Set”,
The shade and the light, Earth’s fireworks giving way to night.
I couldn’t sleep, the wind and rain coming off the sea.
And up to the place, to place I saw the anomaly.
The trail was a mess, weather fronts tend to dispossess.
Work of art, a vignette, when I messaged back ‘bout the “Okan Set”.
In a new hemisphere, trying to stretch summer for a year.
Compromised addressee, postcards got but they’re not believed.
Strange traffic calming measures, I don’t know what to do.
Clifton suspension and breakouts from the zoo.
Carnivores at service stops up at 22.
At Dartford tunnel we know what to do.
I hang my head, recoil in shame.
Sit on my hands and shift the blame.
I turn away or freeze and stop.
Laugh nervously, my hearing pops.
Flight plans and bed pans that hasten in defeat.
Clothing that bothers and burns at every pleat.
Fabled nutrition and spotless Sunday best.
The cold hard comedy they call “The Day of Rest”.
Wiped out on wisdom and sobered off the fumes,
It spoils the view from the hotel but there’s one in every room.
Taiji, Faroe, Yulin, Horsens’s where it’s at.
Despite the smirk I can’t hide the fact, the fact that…
I know my rights, I know my wrongs,
Those pressure drops, unfinished songs.
They’re just like me, my enemies,
Knee deep in muck and out of luck.
No hieroglyphs, no Rubik’s cubes.
No made up names, no attitudes.
I hang my head, recoil in shame.
Sit on my hands and shift the blame.
I turn away or freeze and stop.
Laugh nervously, my hearing pops.

Thanks Rory for talking about the backround of this album. I can see various pictures while listening to this musical pearl.
For me, it is a positive sister to Eddy Vedders "Into the wild" - Album.
Thanks a lot for doing awesome music, man. Herb
